The R.O.S.E. Fund

MISSION To recognize, assist and empower women who have broken the cycle of domestic violence. The R.O.S.E. Fund empowers individual women survivors to rebuild their lives, achieve self-sufficiency and regain their self-esteem by providing them with facial reconstructive surgeries and scholarship monies. They further endeavor to increase public awareness and education around the issues associated with domestic violence and provide women with inspirational role models who demonstrate the magnitude of what individual women with self-esteem can achieve. DESCRIPTION The R.O.S.E. (Regaining One's Self Esteem) Fund provides public awareness and education around the issue of Domestic Violence; cultivates and expands a network of participating doctors and hospitals that provide their medical services on an in-kind basis to R.O.S.E. Fund survivors of domestic violence; provides scholarships to domestic violence victims/survivors in order for them to pursue a secondary education and fulfill personal and professional goals and objectives; accordingly conducts outreach to the many organizations that are aware of/in touch with the survivors of Domestic Violence (shelters, family homeless shelters, social workers, police officers, district attorney's etc.) to make them aware of the R.O.S.E. fund services. IMPACT Through their services, The R.O.S.E Fund is able to erase the physical reminders of abuse to women who have suffered domestic violence while also offering a scholarship program to help women reach financial independence through education, adding stability and control into life.
