Pine Street Inn

MISSION Pine Street Inn partners with homeless individuals to help them move from the streets and shelter to a home and assists formerly homeless individuals in retaining housing. We provide street outreach, emergency services, supportive housing, job training and connections to employment. We tirelessly advocate for collaborative solutions to homelessness. DESCRIPTION Founded in 1969, the Pine Street Inn is a private, non-profit organization that provides a continuum of care for homeless men, women and children. As the largest shelter for the homeless in New England, Pine Street offers an atmosphere of dignity, respect and hope where homeless persons find opportunities to move beyond shelter to housing and other appropriate programs. IMPACT The Pine Street Inn provides services to approximately 1,300 people daily at more than 25 different locations.
