MISSION To provide the basic necessities of life to all their guests, empower all people to become valued members of society, while raising awareness for their plight, and reflect the Love of God in all they do with integrity. DESCRIPTION Boston Resue Mission, Inc. (BMR) is a private, non-profit Christian organization dedicated to moving people from poverty to self-sufficiency since 1899. BMR offers several services for needy and homeless persons as part of a continuum of care that include: overnight shelter services, food pantry services, Post-Detox Residential Program, Life Growth Community Residential Program, ‘On The Job’ Placement Program and spiritual development. Resident clients off set their free room and board by working in the kitchen and doing maintenance jobs. IMPACT Last year, BRM’s shelter provided more than 120 beds per night.The food pantry program provided more than 27,000 meals.
