High School Equivalency Math Tutoring at X-Cel Education (Roxbury)
X-Cel Education's mission is to improve economic opportunity in underserved Greater Boston neighborhoods through accessible, individualized, and free high school equivalency education, postsecondary preparation, and career readiness development. This volunteer opportunity is to provide individualized math instruction to adults who lack a high school diploma and are preparing for their high school equivalency exam. No previous teaching experience necessary. X-Cel will provide orientation and training.

About X-Cel Education:
X-Cel Education was founded in 2000 by two adult educators with the vision of providing quality adult education services to residents of Greater Boston. X-Cel’s mission is to make high school completion, post-secondary study, and sustainable career paths more accessible to underserved communities in Greater Boston, by providing flexible, customized instruction and career readiness development at no cost in convenient community locations. Each X-Cel center is in need of some crucial supplies to help them provide the best learning environment to their students.
