Help Build Harm Reduction Kits - Victory Programs!

About Victory Programs: Victory Programs aims to open the door to hope, recovery, and community for individuals and families facing homelessness, addiction, or other chronic health conditions.

Volunteers will help build harm reduction kits filled with vital supplies that our team distributes to those living in the Mass. and Cass. area. Kits can include sterile syringes, Narcan, wound care supplies, and condoms. These kits help to save lives as the sterile syringe kits alone provide individuals with supplies that will cause the least vein damage and prevent sharing of any supplies to reduce HIV/HCV risk. At the very least, these kits open the door for a conversation with members of the community so staff members can help connect them with the resources they need. The goal of the Victory Connector is to provide a wide array of harm reduction services to women-centered and transgender individuals at great risk for opioid overdose and infectious disease acquisition to help them improve their health, stability, and community. Volunteers will help build kits that reduce the risk of overdose and the spread of diseases such as HIV and Hepatitis C. Ultimately, these kits help save lives and improve the health and safety of those in need.

MBTA ACCESSIBILITY: Short walk from the Massachusetts Ave @Albany Street bus stop
