| BOOYAH!: Global Youth Service Day: Walk for Hunger |
Agency: Project Bread - The Walk for Hunger
Description:
Global Youth Service Day is an annual celebration of youth from over 120 different countries who are volunteering in their communities. By participating in this project, you will be joining millions of youth everywhere for the world’s largest annual day of youth service!
Project Bread puts on the annual Walk for Hunger. Participants in the special event the following week are provided with a snack bag as a thank you for raising funds to fight hunger. Project Bread is hosting BOOYAH! volunteers who will be sorting and packing over 40,000 snack bags, so each bag packed by volunteers directly impacts someone! This event is great for families and individual youth volunteers.
